Mail has been repeatedly undelivered and no notices left for packages or mail. Sometimes some mail gets delivered, but usually gets marked as undeliverable without us even being notified. Went in to get mail, after finally finding this out from a tracking number on a package, and fought to get packages from the lady. Still waiting to hear back if a letter with gift cards actually got returned to my family who sent it, since we never got it. Horrible post office, delivery, and especially customer service.
Awful customer service. I actually think it would be better for them to install a few more self service kiosks. That way we wouldn't have to deal with the rude employees at all
The worst customer service ever. Went to apply for a passport and they said we don't do passport applications the day after a holiday because it takes 20 minutes. SO WHAT, I have 20 minutes. I asked to get a passport photo because their website says they do passport photos. The service person said we don't do passport photos, the website is wrong. I said you should change the website info. The service person said " yeah whatever". Don't waste your time with these rude people.
A lot of the negative comments here are about passports. There is a Passport office on Foley Blvd in Coon Rapids, which is where my family has gone in the past. If you're in a rush for passport service, there are plenty of places besides the Post Office (whose job is to deliver the mail) that you can go.
Lunch hour and Fridays can see long lines, but it's a great post office.
I've had a PO Box here for 9 years, and have always been greeted with a smile by the staff.
I've used a number of post offices around the twin cities. This is one of the best for service and friendliness.
