I love Family Video. I believe it's the only movie store left. They have great prices and a huge selection. All of the employees are a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this store to any movie buff or anybody that wants to rent some movies. I'd give them ten stars if I could.
It's cool to have a retro-feeling video store... but every time we go there we have late fees - I think they REALLY watch the clock, thought the discs were returned on time. Oh well....
There is an older lady who just kills the experience. She acts like a militant nazi. She was on the phone the entire time that I was there. No acknowledgement of any sort. Another time she kept vacuuming and didn't pay any attention when she saw me waiting. Horrible service. Most of the employees are fine but she is bad enough for me not to go back.
This place is awesome! A true child of the 80's, I love renting a movie or five and staying in with good snacks and good company. It's how we had fun before the internet.
Whoever the people are complaining about the service, must hate their lives. This is the most friendly and comfortable place ever. Movies and games are affordable and in the 5 years I've been coming here, I've NEVER been treated badly. And to whoever is complaining about late charges, bring your movies back in time! It's pretty simple.
